As the impacts of climate change continue to become more severe, events like the flooding of New York's subways during Hurricane Sandy, wildfires in the west, and  widespread drought will be all the more commonplace. At the moment, our nation's leaders act, by and large, as though nothing is amiss. Here, I envision public places, impacted by disaster, but the users of those spaces are unperturbed. Where will we be, by the end of the century?
